Dokumentale (10 to 20 October) is a festival for documentary formats dedicated to the promotion of film, new media, non-fiction and podcasts. The festival takes place annually in Berlin and offers a forum for dialogue between filmmakers, journalists, authors, artists, academics and the public. With the D’Hub, the Dokumentale also offers a comprehensive specialist programme, which takes place from 14 to 17 October and whose centrepiece is The Good Media Pitch.
Space Factory
Designing habitable spaces for extraterrestrial environments presents architects with unprecedented challenges. Extreme temperatures, radiation, and microgravity are just a few of the factors that must be considered during the design process. To overcome these obstacles, architects are developing innovative solutions that leverage the latest advancements in materials science and aerospace engineering. From modular construction to self-healing systems, architectural concepts for space are as diverse as the planets themselves.
Audience discussion on 11 October with social scientist Dr Dierk Spreen and Dr Jürgen Rienow, Head of Production at the Planetarium Berlin Foundation. The discussion will be held in German.

The following tickets are only available on site at the cash desk and cannot be booked in the online shop: Family tickets, group discounts, discounted / free tickets within the framework of cooperations (e. g. Berlin Family Pass) and tickets for wheelchair users and their accompanying persons (since there are designated seats for safety reasons). Unfortunately, it is not possible to refund differences resulting from the purchase of regular online tickets. Therefore, please reserve the relevant tickets in advance via our ticket hotline.
Unfortunately, family tickets are not available for cinema films, music and special events, and no discounts apply within the framework of cooperations (e. g. Berlin Family Pass).
