With the live concert series »Live Radiant«, the Zeiss-Groβplanetarium, in cooperation with selected artists, exclusively presents the radiant in the night sky, from which an audiovisual show produced especially for this evening springs. The world premiere, performed in the unique setting of the planetarium hall, is a 360° concert experience with stunning fulldome projections in 3D sound.

On 17 December, Jungstötter and Petra Hermanova will be our guests under the twinkling stars of the planetarium sky.

Jungstötter is the stage name of musician Fabian Altstötter. After the end of his band Sizarr, he released his solo debut »Love Is« in 2019, an album of velvety, calm pieces. The songs are characterised by the interplay of virtuoso musicians trained in jazz, carried by a voice reminiscent of Mark Hollis and Scott Walker. In 2023 the album »One Star« was created. It features music that, in addition to the mood of its predecessor, ventures into instrumental extremes. The songs are at times intricate, condensed and reveal a new complexity. The result is romantic pop music, melancholic, tentative and subtly developed.

Berlin-based singer and composer Petra Hermanova works mainly with the autoharp. Her music moves between vocals and heavy, distorted drones. On her solo debut »In Death’s Eyes«, released in October 2023, she uses not only the autoharp but also her voice and pipe organs with techniques from folk and sacred traditions to explore the spiritual and earthly dimensions of loss and grief. Her album has been nominated for several awards, including the Czech »Grammy« Anděl, and has been presented at numerous contemporary music festivals and as part of the SHAPE+ platform for innovative music. Petra Hermanova has toured internationally with previous projects, including with Jon Eirik Boska and his band Fiordmoss.
